Productivity and Proverbs 31 Woman
These past few months, I have felt stalled and stuck, like a hamster on a wheel; always moving but never progressing forward.
I have goals, but distractions and interruptions are prohibiting my productivity.
Talk about frustrating…..😠
Tell me I am not alone in this area? Have you ever felt this way?
When I am stuck on something, I first turn to the book of Proverbs.
Proverbs offers me the wisdom and insight that points my heart, mind, and soul in the right direction.
Then, I look for Biblically-based resources (such as podcast or books) that will serve as further encouragement and guidance.
👉Do More Better: A Practical Guide to Productivity by Tim Challies; is the current book I am reading on productivity.👈
One quote in the book spoke volumes to me about productivity (below)
“Productivity is effectively stewarding your gifts, talents, time, energy and enthusiasm for the good of others and the glory of God.” Tim Challies
This caused me to wonder,
“Am I stewarding everything for God’s glory and for the good of others?
What a convicting thought!
😀 Even as a stay-at-home mom, productivity is still important to me.
Is being productive important to you? Do you struggle as I do at times?
While I may be extremely productive in my home management, often productivity lacks in other areas, such as my writing and blogging.
This book is an excellent resource for those willing to be more productive in all areas of life, and I wanted to share it with you as well in order to encourage you to overcome struggles to being productive.
What areas do you desire to be more productive in?
