The Integrity of a Personal Account
While the rest of the United States seems to be reeling one way or another from the Kavanaugh confirmation, I will continue to praise God for a Supreme Court Justice that will stand up for the issues that need the truth represented.
As wives and mothers, we should be extremely concerned that our beloved sons and husbands could be falsely accused and then instantly assumed guilty just because a woman did the accusing.
President Donald Trump told reporters on Tuesday, “It’s a very scary time for young men in America, where you can be guilty of something you may not be guilty of.”
It does not matter if you are Republican or Democrat, Christian or atheist, or conservative or liberal; telling the truth should of utmost importance.
Honesty and integrity are important, and should be so for everybody regardless of your affiliation.
Falsely accusing somebody not only destroys their good name, but potentially also their life. Now the newly confirmed Kavanaugh must continue with his life while trying to pick up the pieces and also perform his duties of Supreme Court Justice.
I can only imagine that if this were my husband, how damaging this would be to our marriage and our children.
Whether or not false accusations are rare, is not the case. But false accusations do happen. They do destroy lives. The damage is done. And it is often difficult to clear a good name.
And as a married woman and mother, I can see how the feminist and #metoo movement have caused a lot of damage.
There are sexual assault victims, both male and female. They need to be heard. They need to be protected. They need their stories told and should not be afraid.
We are fighting an unseen battle here. The real problem is not each other, but the enemy. We are not fighting a political battle but a spiritual battle.
The enemy is going to do anything within his realm to cause us to fight against each other and trick us into thinking that we must fight each other.
Deception is one of his most used tools.
Lies, deception, half-told truths, are all of the enemy.
Ladies, the key points I hope that we walk away from is to raise your children to be honest and teach them that intgerity is absolutely important.
Speak the truth. Every.single.time.
