“Its the most wonderful time of the year!”
This is my favorite time of the year. I love everything about it. The snow, Christmas decorations, and delicious food. Nothing is better than friends and family, food, and fellowship. The annual holiday traditions that we partake in annually hold a special place in our hearts.
My children love to tell the same stories from Christmas’ past and what was their favorite memory. My husband and I have created some great family traditions for our children that hopefully they will pass along to their own someday.
However, do memories or traditions only need to be created around the holidays?
My guest blogger, Jennifer Love, explains how she finds joy and makes memories among the mundane in her article, Making the Most of Little Moments.
Jennifer writes, “My kids are really interested in us telling childhood memories lately. I realize we often say that our parents always did something when it probably only happened a few times. Like our history of bowling or going to minor league baseball games. Did we really go every week? What will my kids say, “My parents always…?”
You can read more of her article HERE on her blog, Intentional Traditions.
I know you will enjoy her article as much as I did. If you are looking for another great way to incorporate some traditions with your family, try the Nativity Story.
