Frugality and Biblical Homemaking

Frugality is being a good steward of the blessings that the Lord has given you.  Most of the time, it is up to the homemaker to do the grocery shopping, buying of clothes, and other household items for the family. The homemaker must be able to take the needs of her family and the amount budgeted for these items, and make them last for the entire month.

Frugality does not come easily to many. For some impulse buying is the downfall of the family’s finances and leads to many problems between married couples. Money is the number one cause of divorce in America. Learning how to create a budget, stick to the budget, and communicate on money can be such a blessing in a marriage.

Learning how to be frugal in all areas will help you learn how to thrive on a budget.  Below I have listed some of my most popular articles on frugality, debt, and tips to help you save money as a homemaker.
