Celebrating Christmas

The past few days we were able to celebrate Christmas with some family.  In lieu of receiving an overwhelming amount of Christmas gifts, my children received a Chocolate Lab from their grandparents.

Our newest family member, Zuma, named after the Paw Patrol character is already so loved within our family. Our beloved dog, Zoie, died on Easter Sunday almost three years ago. We had Zoie for fifteen years. The loss was difficult and we’re not the type of family to run out and replace a pet.

Then if you throw in moving into a new house, having another child, and medical issues for one of our children; the past few years were not the best time for us to invest in another pet.

Unfortunately, the past few days have been so busy with visiting family, celebrating Christmas, and a new puppy; I have not had time to do any writing.  Below are some posts in case you missed them previously.

Merry Christmas

As we wrap up one of many Christmas celebrations that will occur during the holiday season, I pray that you have a blessed holiday season, too.  Enjoy the delicious food, have friendly fellowship, go caroling in the snow, and give gifts to those you love.

Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. He came to this earth to die willing for our sins on the cross. That is right! … So amid the presents, cookie decorating, and Christmas parties remember that Jesus is the reason for the season!

Have a blessed Christmas!
