Encouragement for those Feeling Lost and Hopeless
What do your eyes see, heart feel, and mind think upon first waking up?
Do you dread the start of any new day because of you feel lost and hopeless?
As we enter into the holiday season, there are many that are suffering with depression, hopelessness, lack of joy, lack of peace, and lack of love in our lives.
This morning as I sit here in the solitude of my bedroom, my heart is burdened for those who are suffering from an affliction, those who are grieving, those who are lost, and those who are wandering without direction in this world.
My prayer for you this morning is as follows….
How heavy are the burdens that so many carry.
How weighted down are so many that it blankets us and causing our eyes to become veiled, ears closed, and hearts hardened.
May you open the eyes of those hearts Father and surround them with your love.
Enable them to feel Your loving embrace and find solace in You.
May those heavily burdened, lost, or wandering seek mercy in You, find rest in You, and know that Your grace is sufficient.
May all who are feeling empty, joyless, or feeling hopeless yearn for You, run to You, and be content in You.
For You are enough. Your grace is enough. You are our Portion and our Cup.
Lord, may You occupy that space in our those hearts that so desperately seek You, without knowing what they need. May our longing be for You, oh God, unlike no other.
To know you Jesus and to love you Jesus may that be the greatest thing in our life.
May You be the one thing that matters the most.
Jesus, I thank you for always loving me, even though my heart, mind, and body will fail.
With my eyes on you, I want to see life as you see it.
Be blessed in your walk with the Lord, dear sisters.
Know that even in your deepest sorrows, toughest of days, and those seasons of life where you feel empty and alone; He is there.
Be encouraged for as it says in Deuteronomy 3:16, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Stephanie, Training Keepers of the Home
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.
Those who are far from you will perish;
you destroy all who are unfaithful to you.
But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds.
