Encouragement for the Christian Homemaker

Encouragement for the Christian Homemaker

Being a Christian woman is not a walk in the park.

Often our days as wives, mothers, and homemakers are tiresome, tough, and tedious. This combination leaves us exhausted, feeling depressed, and burdened down by weight of our responsibilities.

I want you to find the support that you need to feel encouraged and energized in your role as a Christian woman, wife, and mother.

Titus 2:4-5 it says,

“And so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.” (ESV)

Our Ministry as Homemakers

Based on Titus 2:5 and as an older woman, my ministry is teaching women and ‘training keepers at home’ how to live out their roles according to Scripture.

As a woman our main priority at home includes building up the home, being a keeper at home, speaking life into the home, and loving our husband.

But we often feel so discouraged and drained. But I want to remind you of the importance of your job, the very job that you were created for.

It is important to remember that our work as mothers, wives, and keepers of the home is a ministry.

This job that you have, (the managing of your home), is one of the most important jobs on this earth. Christian mothers have a tremendous sphere of influence over their children.  We must never downplay or diminish the roles that God has assigned us as mothers.

Be encouraged dear sweet sisters and know that God you planted right where He intended.
