Why we need women to be teaching and learning…..Biblical Womanhood
There is no better time in the history of mankind for older women to step up to the plate and teach younger women.
It is imperative that Biblical principles be taught to younger women, and maybe in some cases, older women as well.
Women have lost their way and many don’t know how to be a woman. This is not just in a worldly sense, but occurs in churches as well.
Women are confused over their roles, responsibilities, and the value of being a woman.
The need is so great for Titus 2 women to rise up and teach younger (and older) women Biblically sound doctrine on what is expected of women according to Scripture.
Far too many women feel inadequate to teach because they fear their theological background is weak. Or they just are unsure of exactly what to teach other women.
Strong women of the Word are needed to teach and mentor according to Titus 2:3, “Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good.”
If you are an young woman or older woman, seek out an older woman who exhibits characteristcs of a Godly woman.
If you are an older woman who does have Godly characteristics, you have been put into the position of teacher.
You will be able to exert influence over these women who will trust you and your words.
This is a high calling for older Christian women, that is, to be teaching one another.
But if you feel like you cannot do it alone, and we cannot; we must trust that God will equip us in the task of training younger women.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24, “May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.”
