My Top Ten Favorite Blogs

As a young wife and mother who has the desire to find the truth about homemaking, marriage, and finances; where are you supposed to turn? The World Wide Web can be a confusing map on the information highway.

Are you seeking the truth, but confused about where to turn?

Do you need some money saving tips for your one income family?

Have questions about marriage or parenting?

Well, you are not alone. I felt the same way as a young wife and mother, but now in my early 40’s I am more confident in my abilities. I have learned where to go for help on the internet and get rock solid advice; and I am sharing some of those sites with you.

Below is a list of my top ten helpful blogs that will help set the course for your marriage, Christian walk, parenting, and so many other areas.

  1. The Frugal Girl:  In her blog Kristen, who is better known as the Frugal Girl writes about wise spending, DIY, contentment, and simplicity. Sign up for her regular emails to your inbox for encouraging and insightful information.

  2. Money Saving Mom:  In her blog Crystal shares tips on a vast array of financially frugal topics such as using coupons, money saving tips, deals of the day, and so much more. This mom and wife is your one stop shop for all things frugal.

  3. Sacred Grounds Sticky Floors.  Grab a cup of coffee, laugh with Jami or at her as you read her hilarious quips on motherhood, adoption, foster care, marriage, and life in general.  Most of all she is a child of the Lord.  Her grace runs rampant throughout her blog. She is convinced if you run your household on glory, that where you will be standing is on sacred ground.

  4.  Raising Arrows: Are you feeling overwhelmed? Do you wish someone could help you simplify your life? Do you desperately want to homeschool with confidence, create an inviting and loving home atmosphere, and enjoy the journey of raising your little ones? This blog is for you. I promise you will not be disappointed when reading Raising Arrows.

Surviving Toddlerhood  is the place to go for Christian women in the season of littles or not so littles who need encouragement, helping them to grow in faith in Jesus Christ, offering gluten free, grain free, allergen free options for meals and snacks, tips on Christian motherhood and parenting, and more. Rebekah is passionate about helping women to have healthy pregnancies and to thrive during the postpartum period.

Hillbilly Housewife: The mission of HBHW is to provide a well-rounded approach to all areas of keeping a home, and provide a place for readers, to voice your opinion and share recipes and tips with each other. This blog has been a lifesaver for my husband and I during the early years of raising our children when money was tight and the cupboards were bare. The recipes are time-tested and to this day I use many of them on a regular basis.
